1. The free app and the free account
There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund. You can stop using the app whenever you like, and delete your account from Settings at any time. Your data stays on your device until you erase it there.
2. Cancelling Hevelly Plus
You can cancel at any time, from Settings in the app or by email to hello@hevelly.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal: Plus keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account then returns to the free plan. No reason needed and no cancellation fee.
3. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your Hevelly Plus purchase within 14 days of the day you bought it, without giving a reason. To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email to hello@hevelly.com before the 14 days are up. You can use the form below, but you do not have to. We confirm receipt by email.
The refund goes to the payment method you used, within 14 days of the day we receive your withdrawal. How much is refunded depends on whether Plus had started:
- If Plus had not started, you get the full amount back. Unless you ask for it to start right away, Plus starts once the 14 days have passed, so nothing is used before then.
- If you asked for Plus to start right away at checkout, and acknowledged that this means paying for the days you use, you still have the full 14 days to withdraw. The refund is then the price you paid less a proportional amount for the days between the start of Plus and the day you withdrew, worked out against the length of the period you paid for.
The withdrawal right applies to the purchase of a subscription, not to its renewals. A renewal is a payment under the subscription you already have; for those, cancel as described above and Plus runs to the end of the paid period.

To Hevelly Tech SL, [Registered address], Spain, hello@hevelly.com:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the Hevelly Plus subscription, ordered on [date].
Name of consumer: [name]
Email used for the Hevelly account: [email]
Date: [date]
4. After the 14 days
Once the 14 days have passed, payments for the current paid period are not refunded. Cancel at any time and Plus runs to the end of that period, then stops; you are not charged again. The exceptions are where the law requires a refund, where we end the service during a paid period (we then refund the part you did not receive), or where something on our side kept Plus from working for a significant part of the period. In that last case write to us and we will put it right, usually with a credit or a refund for that period.
5. What happens to your data
- Your data is on your devices and stays there. Cancelling or withdrawing changes nothing about it.
- When Plus ends, your most recent cloud backup stays as the free plan's single backup, on the device that made it. The history of earlier backup versions is removed.
- Continuous sync stops when Plus ends. Each device keeps the data it had at that moment.
- Deleting your account removes the backup, its history and your profile from our servers.
6. Prices, taxes and failed payments
The price shown when you subscribe includes VAT where it applies, based on the country you tell us. If a renewal payment fails we tell you by email and retry; if it keeps failing, Plus features stop and your account returns to the free plan, with your latest backup kept. Price changes are announced by email at least 30 days before they apply to you, so you can cancel first.
